Quit smoking. They wouldn't be doing it if you're not doing it. Talk to them about it too. Tell them that it's wrong and thell them the causes. there are 40,000 ingredients in ONE cigarette. 4,000 are cancer causing. Some of the ingredients are jet fuel, rat poison, nail polish remover, and way more disgusting ingredients. You shouldn't be smoking either. It causes a bad environment, and the person next to you is inhaling the air, and plus there isn't a filter. But, the filter doesnt work either. Please stop smoking, for yourself, and your children.

There are two issues here: smoking and stealing. They both need to be dealt with in a positive manner. First, when you smoke, do not smoke in front of them. Try showing them a health video on what smoking does to the lungs (wouldn't hurt for you to see it also).
Stealing is serious business too. By now they should know the difference between right and wrong. Try talking to them both letting them know the consequences of stealing. If that doesn't work, take them to the local police station and have an officer escort them to the prisoner section so they can see first hand what happens to thiefs.

A high percentage of children with parents who smoke will end up smoking. You and their mom need to stop smoking. You'll be healthier as will the kids. There are a lot of illnesses with increased occurences in people who smoke or are around second-hand smoke on a regular basis.

Also, get to the root of the stealing issue. There's something else other than "curiosity" going on there.

keep your fags locked up in the glovebox of your car and don't smoke in front of them. Better yet, set a good example and quit smoking yourselves.
