I think you need to sit and talk with her about the difference of opinion you have about getting married. Five years. Ask her why 5 years? Ask if 1 or 2 years would be long enough. Whatever reason she gives for waiting, ask couldn't we accomplish what she wants and be married, instead of waiting?
If you feel she isn't answering clearly or honestly, she may not want to marry you, but is afraid to say so. You have to decide if you can accept the relationship un-married or if you need to move on to find someone that wants you as much as you deserve to be wanted.

If u trust urself & ur gf , carry on with ur bussiness & married after 5 years. Only , lovers who don't trust each other , wants everything earlier.
Bez of a lot of relationship was destroyed, u cannot make a conclussion & judge a book by it's cover. If a relationship destroy , u can find another one but if a marriage is destroy no use u find another one.
So, try 2 understand her's needs , respect her's feelling & sure she will respond ur intention very soon.
' If u truly loves her , u will wait even more than 5 years 2 marry her.'
Good Luck.

The good thing is, sounds like you both have your heads on straight. Both financially secure, you love each other. Sounds good. He's at a nice age to get married. You, a little young. When I was your age, I was no where near ready to settle down. But don't let this relationship fall by the wayside. Keep this going. He sounds like a keeper. If it's meant to be, it's meant to be. No matter what.

You can't make her marry you. If she is wanting to wait 5 years she obviously is either in med school and does not have time for you (like you don't have time for her because of your business) or she is just waiting for something better to come along. (I hope she is not shacked up with you and you are paying all the bills, in that case she is not only looking for someone better she is using you too).

IF YOUR GIRLFRIEND WANTS TO GET MARRIED IN FIVE YEARS THEN WAIT THERES NO REASON WHY TWO PEOPLE HAVE TO RUSH INTO GETTING MARRIED AND I DONT THINK THAT YOU WILL LOSE HER. I DONT DOUBT YOU WHEN YOU SAY THAT YOU REALLY LOVE HER AND THAT YOU WANT TO MARRY HER BUT YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND WHERE SHE IS COMING FROM. MAYBE IN FIVE YEARS SHE WILL BE READY TO GET MARRIED AND SETTLE DOWN IN THE MEANWHILE ALL I CAN SAY IS ENJOY EVERY MOMENT THE TWO OF YOU HAVE AS A COUPLE AND DONT WORRY SO MUCH THAT SHES NOT GOING TO MARRY YOU WITHIN THE ALLOTED TIME IF IT IS MEANT TO BE IT WILL BE

Well, you can't force someone to marry. They problary just not ready to settle down completely yet. Calm down. Just whenever you do have free time go see her. Surprise her everyonce in awhile. Have fun. Just reminder her that you love her and that you are willing to wait for her.
