You make several suppositions here. There really is the assumption that when you flatulate your soul is escaping. Then you ask if the soul leaves because it doesn't like us very much, which assumes that if it likes us it stays. I think you need to realize what a fart is. A fart. A soul. Two very different things.

See it the other way round; when you fart and your soul escapes, that doesn't make your soul like you more, does it? I mean, thats the type of question that you will never get a precise answer...its very relative. According to what I learned, your soul doesnt belong to you but to its own realm. Like you or hate you, it stays with you till your body expires-you die-and it goes back to its realm. Farting has nothing to do with the soul, I am sorry to say. My approach to life is quite realistic but still I respect your opinion.

Farts are gas created from the breakdown of food and the byproduct of the stomach/intestinal acids. They have nothing to do with souls. The average human farts 16 times a day... so how again does that work with souls? I am now confused.

If that was the case then I would no longer have a soul, you know because I fart a whole lot.

That is a very unique perspective on the subject and I gotta tell ya I never thought of it that way. For some people I would say yes, I think that is true.

No, but there used to be a woman in Christian Chat that ascribed to the belief that a demon can leave the body through a burp or flatulence.
