There's not much to tell you without knowing the details of your face (dry, oily; skin color; eye color). Check out almay.com for eyeshadow color inspirations. They have colors specifically chosen for each eye color.

As teenagers, starting with the right foundation makeup is absolutely essential. When you walk into a room, you want people to notice you and not your makeup. Your foundation makeup should leave your face looking flawless and not two-toned.
If you are fortunate to have flawless skin as a teenager, then you can get by wearing only a face powder. maybe a yellow-based face powders that is oil absorbent and natural-looking.
If however you are like most teens, then you need to use a foundation with a bit more coverage to conceal your skin blemishes. use a Powder foundation, which is very oil absorbent, has good coverage and is still natural-looking.
Applying makeup over blemishes can make the condition worse. Save the makeup for a very special occasion and remove it as soon as possible.
and go for good marks and buy the light one.

blemished skin is definitely the worst. trust me, i've had to live with it. ask your mom to take you to a dermatologist. there are a ton of amazing acne products to help your skin. seeing as how you're about the same age I am, I'll tell you how much makeup I wear, and you can go from there.
for blemishes: DONT use foundation. use a spot concealer on zits to blend them in. If, for some reason, you find a need to wear foundation or powder, make sure it's non-oily and won't clog your pores!!!!
for eyes: if you don't know how to apply it, don't wear eyeliner. practice makes perfect, so before you go out in public, make sure u practice LOTS at home. wear a brown mascara (black looks too dramatic) only put mascara on your top lashes. and I usually wear light, sparkly eyeshadows. (usually pink) they look cute, but not shocking. for lips, just wear a light pink or clear lipgloss.
for make up removers: make sure its non oily!!! if you have blemishes, make sure of this!! oily makeup removers work better, but they cause more zits.
also, make sure to wash makeup completely off at night time. after using makeup remover, wash your face with a gentle face soap to make sure you get everything off.
with makeup: remember, less is more!! when you get more experienced, you can experiment more with different colors, techniques, etc.
i really hope this helps!!

At 15, the best makeup is the least makeup. It may not feel like it now, but your face is fresh and pretty. Use some kind of concealer for your blemishes. Just use it in the spots where you have blemishes, not everywhere. Use a little mascara and lip gloss. Use pink lip gloss shades. It will make you look really pretty.

Look on the internet, ask your friends, or look in magazines to see what colors will look good on you and how to put the makeup on. You can even buy the colors that do look good on you and then spend a few hours or so testing combinations. Once you find a look you like, then you can do it more often. If you have easily blemished skin, then don't use too much, like heavy cakelike foundations.

Do you have AIM? If so, PLEASE send me an IM. My name is Lactating Dragon, and I know a ton of makeup tricks and hints. I will spend hours with you on how to put everything on and I have the best sources for makeup. If you want, you can look at my other answers and you can tell. If you dont have aim, my email is kdomagala@sbcglobal.net
I am going to give you what makeup I wear for your case.
Here are some things that you will need:
-Foundation
-Lipgloss or lipstick (I perfer lipgloss)
-eyeshaddow
-Blush
-Eyeshaddow and blush brush
-Mascarra.
Ok, I use covergirl foundation, but that might not be the best for you. I have a kind of unusual face color, because I have very light skin, but I do not have any red/blue undertones, so I need a foundation that has almost no color, but the little it does gives a yellow/orange undertone. However, you may not be that way. Go and find a good foundation that fits your exact skin color. This is the most important thing, because you need the closest match as possible to look like you are human.
Next is eyeshaddow. I recomend with all my heart Almay, because they have color trios for any eye color. I use the green one, and they just make it look like my eyes pop out. Its awesome. They give good directions on the back, and it comes with a little thing to apply the makeup with. I dont think you should use that though, but instead buy a makeup brush for your eyes. It should be bushy, but very small so that you can get that middle color in the crease. Its under 8 dollars, and its worth every penny of it.
Mascarra is good if your eyelashes arent too long. If you have very thick dark eyelashes, I sugguest that you buy some clear mascarra. Otherwise, buy it a little bit darker than your hair color.
For blush, you should buy something very natural. I recomend the blush that loreal has called true match. How you buy it is they have these cards you hold about half an inch away from your skin, and compare it to your skin. Pick the one that looks best, and then find the letter and number. I am N2, so I would find all the diffrent things of makeup that has N2 if I want to look extremely natural.
For lip color, I recomend gloss all day, but a lip color all night. If you tan more than burn, you need a more pink lip color. But if you burn more than tan, you need something more brownish red. I use a deep berryish purple type of tint, and a shimmery redish purpleish brown for night because I never burn. I dont tan well because I dont have much color, but when I do it always turns out well. My friend however cant tan if her life depended on it, and she looks amazing with any type of brownish red earthy lipstick. I use maybelline lipglosses because I like the glossyness of it, but maybelline doesnt have the best lipsticks. For lipsticks, I also sugguest almay's line with the natural thing. They have a few diffrent types of lipsticks. For those who look good in neutrals, berries, reds, and something else. They look very natural, but if you have a darker skin tone I think that max factor or cover girl is the way to go.
If you are just starting, dont get eyeliner yet because it takes some skill to put on. It isnt a basic, but it always helps make you look the best. If you need eyeliner, then use (once again) Almay's eyeliner. For eyes, they have the eye color, eyeliner, and then a mascarra. All of them are amazing, and you cant go wrong with buying one of each.
You will also need something to take all the makeup off. I use almay's makeup remover because it works really well (I pat my eyes and everything but the mascarra and the hidden bits of eyeliner are gone) but it is one of the more expensive ones at about 6 dollars a bottle. Any eye makeup remover is good, but make sure that you dont buy the pads, but instead always buy the liquid bottles. They last longer, arent as harsh on your face, and just make more sense.
If you have any more questions, you can email me at kdomagala@sbcglobal.net

Look in magazines and what other girls our wearing, wearing a little makeup gives you the natural look which some prefer and others like bold looks it really depends on you. A-lot of girls wear eyeliner and mascara. Go to google and type in "how to apply...." and they should have some results for you. Good luck and have fun.

Just powder to take care of mid-day shine. Then maybe some lip gloss. That's how I started! Magazines are a good way to study different looks. Check out Allure. They have tips on how to apply.

Just a little cover up and a little eye shadow. Nothing cheaper looking than a little girl with too much makeup.

the best thing to do - simply b/c most teenagers think they know - and they dont -- would be go to a department store that has a cosmetics counter. most of the time - they will do a 'makeover' and show you what is best for your skin as far as colors, mouisturizers ect. then you can go to walmart and match up colors and types make up (liquid vs powder and types of brushes..)
