Sienfeld - Friends trys to be cute in their humor where Sienfeld explores the dark side of human nature via the warped mind of Larry David.Curb your enthusiasm deploys the same type of hysteria.The devopment of the characters and their petty grievences and annoyances and idiosyncracies was so refreshing and somewhat accurate of true human nature amped up of course for television.

seinfeld. Friends is real funny too but Seinfeld was just a next level of joke with some of the stuff those guys came out with.

Seinfeld is better. The different stories in each episode dovetail together, so they are all important. In Friends, you have one main conflict with a couple of characters and then the other people are doing little insignificant storylines that are comedic, but not integral to the main conflict.
Also, Seinfeld is about 4 very selfish people. The fact that we all relate to it reflects how shallow we really are. It's great!! (But Friends is great too -- it's hard to do a quality show with that big an ensemble cast.)

Friends is better but I'm not sure why I think that but I have just always liked it better than Seinfeld.

I liked both shows but Seinfeld had better story lines.
Friends was one long story about who's doing who.

Seinfeld has rerun value, i still laugh at seinfeld and i've seen them way more than friends.... Friends is a great show, but once you've see an episode there is no replay value

Friends since I wasn't that fond of the actors in Seinfeld.

I loved both shows. I watch the reruns of seinfeld now, but I don't watch friends unless it's a good one, when ross and rachel ever make out, or when they had the baby,etc.

I think Seinfeld b/c even though they are both funny shows....Seinfeld has situations in which alot, most or many of us have been involved with in one way or another. I think it's more of the "average person" show.....and that's what we are......average people.....

Friends cause seinfeld is boring and i like looking at hot chicks.
