Being that I am usually on the administrating side of the shots and needles, I would say no.. but I know a few that are scared all the time even after many times coming in for shots.. I guess that's part of the job ! LOL.

I used to be, but one time I had a really great nurese, she was so caring. When I needed blood drawn, she told me to make a tight fist and hold it untill she was ready... when she was about to put the needle in, she told me to totally relax my arm... it didnt hurt at all !!!
As for a shot, well it's over so fast so I just clench my fist (not the arm that was having the shot. So it hurts for a second or 2, if that's all I had to worry about........ :)

im scared to death of needles b/c they inflict pain...and i hate pain. i am the biggest baby when i have to get shots, give blood, or get an IV. when i had a major surgery, the only thing i was scared of was getting the IV put in b/c i knew i had to be awake during that part. also b/c my veins are quite small so if the needle is too big, they have to poke me a few times to get it just right. OUCH!

No, I don't fear them, they are a necessary evil; the stick and the pain associated with it only lasts a second or two.
My grown son, on the other hand, hates them. He just can't stand the idea of the pain. I don't know how in the world he took all the shots when he was in the Marine Corps.

Yes,I'm afraid of needles and shots. I guess it's the anticipation of the pain I know is coming.

Yes I do but I have to give myself shots of insulin every night before bed to control my blood sugar...
So I bought the small needles and it doesn't hurt as much...
So I am getting used to it...

I don't fear them. I don't like them but I mean it isn't like it'll hurt forever! That's why they put the band-aid on! But one time, when I was four, I had to get 30 shots for some reason! It hurt soooooooooo much and I was crying! But I was four!

i've got a phobia of needles, but there's no particular reason. i hate getting shots or having my blood taken. i end up fainting all over the place, and usually i crack my head when i fall on the floor!!

but i dont mind getting tattoos......not the same, though, is it?

I've only really feared one shot. I had to get a shot around my eyelid. Fortunately I've never had to get another one there and all
the doctors that have ever given me shots knew what they were doing.

Used to but got over beause fear is a virtue not life. You don't have to live your life full fear beause if you let fear take over you, you will be pulled into another portal of worse fear. You have to conquer it like a pizza and you know you like pizza.
