your life will never be the same, but in good ways. take it easy thru out your pregnancy. ya labor sucks, i never took ne but i would suggest lamaze classes, those breathing techniques may actually help. i suggest walking some every day. you may not think so at the time but that will definatly make things easier during labor (this one i know from experience!!!) if your water breaks n you go to the hospital but still dont end up going into labor they may have to induce you, they did me, if taht happens n they tell you not to eat ne thing, no matter how hungry you are listen to them, sorry to be a bit blunt here but taking a dump while giving birth is not a plesant experience at all. the WIC program is a good program and very helpful. and dont ever let ne body tell you the way you are doing things is wrong. unless you are beating or neglecting your child just because you decide to start putting some cerel in their bottle or giving them juice earlier than taht person ever did does not mean that they r rite n you r wrong. you will know when you try things wether or not your child is ready.

good luck n congratulations!!!!!!

You need to know alot more than what I can put down on here. Your best resources, besides your mother, will be the internet, the library, and your doc. The most important thing I can tell you for after the baby is born is to plan on breastfeeding the first year. It's a little tough to start out, especially your first time. But it's free and so much easier than bottles and way healthier for you and your baby than formula. You can get more info from your local la leche league chapter or your hospital may have a lactation consultant on staff. Now is the time to start looking into it rather than waiting until your babe is born. Congratulations and good luck! And if you need any more help or advice feel free to contact me.

That is a pretty open question. If might be easier to answer if you had a specific question, because there is soo much to tell. Your mucus plug usually will fall out a week or so before you have your baby. It will be very gooey and clearish white in color. If your worried about when it would happen the thing is you never know, but when it does it might freak you out if you don't know what's going on. I highly recommend taking birthing classes at the hospital where you plan on delivering. Good Luck.

Check out babyzone.com or webmd.com. These are both great free sites. The book What to Expect when you're expecting is great. So is the book The Girlfriend's guide to pregnancy. Both of these run about 14 a piece. I'm 9 weeks and babyzone.com has a pregnancy calendar that I use and tells you what to expect. Good Luck!!

Yes.... and the answer is LOTS!! Alot of stuff is wives tales.... such as don't lift your arms above your head because the umbilical cord can wrap around the baby's neck and choke it. Yea... don't believe those!! Go to this webiste or type in pregnancy into your search bar... you'll have lots of fun!! Also.... you can get lots of free stuff!!

Get the book, What to Expect When You're Expecting. It was life-saver for me and an easy read. You can get it at a library or buy it. Congratulations!

iCONGRATULATIONS!!!

The most important suggestion that i have for you is to eat healthy! You don't have to be a vegetarian...but be concious of what you eat ...don't eat a lot of fast food....remember what ever you eat ....so does your baby....also it is important for you to take you prenatal supplements that I'm sure you have ..which will strengthen you and your "bundle of joy" :) stay away from alcohol and no smoking....try to stay away from those who do as well remember" being around smokers are more harmful to a non-smoker". Get proper rest....and stay active...but do not over exert yourself....God Bless you both.

ParentCenter.com has a great thing where they will email you info once a week with a picture and everything. You can ask questions, too.
