It was all over the history channel... Basically its secret codes in Da Vinci's paintings. The Mona Lisa, the last supper, He was a member of the Priory of Scion, which was a secret organization that protected the songreal documents, which are documents that show the royal blood line. Coming down from Mary Magdalene. It puts theory's in peoples heads about if Jesus was married. And if he was, was Mary Magdalene prego when he was crucified. Its pretty interesting but they really can not prove anything. I would suggest reading the book because it is a very good read.

The Da Vinci Code is a "Code" that supposedly allows people to see that the bible foretold everything that has happened since the bible was written. It is completely made up. They wrote a computer program to search for specific words using a code that they had set. I'm sure if you had the program you could find your Name, Birthdate, and parents names if you wanted to waste your time with it.

It's a book dealing with the Holy Grail and the bloodline of Jesus Christ. it talks in theory of Jesus marrying Mary Magdalen and them having a child. though it says she was possibly pregnant during his cruxifiction. a lot of people don't like this idea because they think this would make Jesus a sinner and it would take away from his divinity, which would make him mortal. and many many people don't like the idea of Jesus being a mortal considering he was the son of God. it's a really good book and poses a lot of good theories. I suggest you read it.
however, I've had people tell me that reading this book and hearing these theories makes me doubt Christ and gives the devil ammunition against me. I disagree. because of my will, faith, and having a strong heart, I don't see how it does. I don't question or have any doubts about Jesus and God. I'm not going to completely change my mind on my religious beliefs for just reading a fictional book that happens to have a lot of facts. it just opens people's minds to the possibilites of what may have been.
and by the way, I don't want people jumping down my throat just because I like the book. yes, I still believe Jesus is the son of God, and I don't necessarily believe they were married and had a child, but I do think it's a possibility and I don't think it would have been so bad if it were true. but that doesn't mean it was or wasn't. no one can really be too sure.

It's a good fictional novel. They story line is fictional however there is a lot of truth interwoven. If the church and other parties had not made such a fuss over it, the book would have not been such a good seller and the Film would have not probably be made. Two things sell, Bad News and Hot topics on Religious Facts that are denied so outspokenly by the Church.

it is a novel with some good theories and facts(if you want me to say it that way).It suggests that jesus was married to mary magdaline so bringibg out the idea that jesus has a bloodline living until nowadays.to christians this theory is annoying because it suggests that jesus is a mortal and so taking him away from his diety which christians believe in.it also suggests that most of the new testament bible is lies and is made up in the desire of the roman catholics at that time.this is what made most of the popes world wide angry with this novel denying it.anyways my advice for you is to read the novel so that you build up your own point of view about it and not be biased by other people's opinions.PEACE.......
