Talk to the doctor, get the pills and take them.
Ask if he would prescribe pills so you won't have your period for longer than the normal 28 days. Standard bc pills make your body think it is pregnant so the menses are suspended. At some point the pills turn into placebos, or they run out and your body goes back to having the period. So, you have to ask the doctor if you can do it. He will give you pills that won't go to placebo or won't run out before your next desired period.

The week of "dummy" pills in a pack of birth control pills is merely a marketing thing. When originally introduced onto the mass market, manufacturers were afraid that women would freak out if they didn't have a period each month so they included the week of non-hormoned pills.
You can eliminate your period by simply bypassing the week of placebo pills and go onto the next pack. Talk to your doctor about it before doing this, though. You might have some specific medical histories or issues that could make any oral contraceptives dangerous or ineffective.

Although the pill doesnt stop you from having your period I would suggest a new pill called seasonale because you only have 4 periods a year. But im not sure if it is safe. Good Luck! =)

The pill will not get rid of it completely but they have a new pill where your period is only a few days long. I wish I could remember what it's called. The Depo-Provera shot can get rid of your period completely but it could take a few months before the meds will start to work.

the pill doesn't stop your period. it just makes it not so strong. the only way to not have your period is to either get pregnant or have your uterus removed(that will not allow you to do anything for 5 months.)
I hope you find a solution that doesn't completely ruin you life! Just handle your period.things will be fine! good luck!
