Chapman University and USC are considered the two top film schools in So Cal and both are hard to get in to. USC professors may be more prestigious but Chapman has more on campus resources such as its own back lot and the most state of the art equipment. Chapman also has a very low student to faculty ratio giving you more one on one attention.
Remember, the amount of famous actors has nothing to do with how well they prepare you to do real behind the scenes film work.
Several films are made right on or near by campus providing lots of internship opportunities. A short list of popular films made on or around Chapman's campus during the years I was there were: A Few Good Men, Rocky and Bullwinkle, That Thing You Do, Big Momma's House.

USC and NYU are tgenerally thought to have the two best Film Schools.
