I wouldnt be too upset if a Billy Zane played the part his eyes would compliment the nature of Roland. I actually believe that Hugh Laurie (british actor stars in house now) could pull the part off as well. I wouldn't want a any bigger of a name. No Harrison Ford's, Mel Gibson's, Michael Douglas' or Clint Eastwoods because I think it would detract from the story but that's just my opinion :o)

well, 10 years ago i would have said clint eastwood, have you seen Unforgiven? anyway i think that someone like maybe Dennis Quaid or even maybe almost Harrison Ford (the truth is, there arent really any cool, calm bad-*** old guy actors anymore)
