Oh, your friends are totally wrong... Over the Hedge was awesome. It was even better than Cars. My three year old actually got bored in Cars. She sat on the edge of her seat throught the entire movie of Over the Hedge.
The characters were inventive, not over played, very believeable and the cast members were top knotch. Bruce Willis, Bill Shatner, Wanda Sikes, (The guy from 40 year old virgin), Gary Shandling, Avril Levine, and Tomas Haden Church. It was perfect.
GO SEE IT!! IT'S WORTH $6.00.

I havnt seen it yet, I did go to see Omen last week and that sucked.

It was cute, and it had a good moral, but it wasn't as good as Madagascar or Finding Nemo.

My five year old and ten year old nephews loved it esp. the five year old who was laughing his head off.
Therefore, it worked for him.
I thought it was a cute film.
