Personally, 256mb is not enough memory, mine has 1024. If you are a gamer, which I assume you are since you put this question in this section and not in the techie threads, you might want a better video card as well.

All of the above. More memory. Sometimes 1G isn't enough, either. Upgrade video card for sure. Get a sound card and speakers. Motherboard sound does not always get the true game sound. I like my 21inch WS monitor too. So much BETTER than a tiny 15 or 17 inch. The hard drive is a little small, too.
