Because humans are so advanced that the regular laws of evolution can show amendment.
To fully answer your question, perhaps it remains to be seen. If dumb people abound and smart people subside, the money and upper class will grow smaller and smaller, while conditions for others will get worse and worse.
Oh yeah, that is already happening.

Evolution and Selective Breeding are two different things. You can obtain a strain of plant or breed of dog through selective breeding this is not a natural process.
Evolution on the other hand is a genetic permutation that occurs naturally splitting a species from the original species.

Evolution does not select species by selective breeding. You are either very confused or attempting a strawman argument. Either way you've been caught with your hand in the cookie jar.

no one is killing the dumb families. evolution takes place because one certain type of species can no longer exist in the environment theyre in. lets say there were brown foxes in the artic at one time but since they couldnt blend in with the snow they were hunted and killed but the white ones were able to survive. nowadays there is heath care and medicine that is able to save these people totally nullifying evolution. as for a lot of children they do that so they can get more money off the welfare

At this point in time; Humans, through technology, have kind of moved themselves outside the process of natural selection as taught in schools. However, this may not be true, as we do not know what the world will be like in the next 100-200 years.
A point to consider, dumb people may not survive as long...

My guess on the 'dumb families tons of kids' generalization is both a lack of planning skills and an excessively sentimental view of childhood.

Wait Saintfighter- how exactly is evolution racist and sexist? I don't get it. Are you saying that women are less evolutionarily "fit" than men? That makes no sense - it takes both ladies and men to pass on genes, no?
And as far as natural selection goes, it is based on struggle to survive and pass on genes. While the process still occurs in nature, it does not occur in our modern society.

No one will stop the doctors from keeping those that should not propagate from dieing the way they did before doctors were so good at their job.

I know this will sound harsh, but once we started taking care of our sick and disabled, nature was removed from natural selection and we stopped evolving. If the trend you note continues, we will probably start de-evolving, thereby proving Devo right.
