I am wondering if an old boyfriend of mine is married or not. I recently ran into him again and realized that I am still very interested.

Many counties have their marraige records online. It's usually under the County Auditor or Records sections. If your county doesn't, you could always check out on classmates.com. If he has filled out a profile, it could be on there.
If all else fails, you could always just ask him. It kind of plays your hand, but at least you'll know for sure what's going on with his love life.

Was he wearing a ring? Did he have a "ring tan-line"?
Call the local newspaper in his town, and ask about wedding announcements under his last name within a given time period.

just type in free public records by state in ur search engine. i do it all the time. also u can see if somebody is divorced or deceased . but yes anything that is a public record such as marriage can be found in public records by state
