Cramping is a normal feeling at your point in pregnancy. As long as you aren't having any bleeding it is most likely just caused from your muscles getting used to the increasing size of the baby. The cramping that you are feeling is most likely not realted to gestational diabetes, but rather a normal part of pregnancy. As for your lab values, the 3 hour GTT will give your doctor a better idea of what is going on with you. I had gestational diabetes with my son and had plenty of GTT tests. Just have faith in your doctor and I am sure everything will be fine. Good Luck!

I cramped quite a bit too, so it may be braxton hicks, but if you don't feel comfortable, then call your doctor ASAP and ask to make an appointment. This is your pregnancy and they should accomodate you to put you at ease.

Cramping and GD are not a hand in hand thing. You should be asking your doctor this question as cramping can be very serious. Even if you don't see blood you should always ask you doctor. It's better to be safe than sorry.

I had the crapming with all my pregnancies and it was my ligaments and the uterus stretching. IT wasn't too pleasant but seemed to get worse...itis normal. bUt if there is ever any bleeding with it then call your DR.
