if i had a time machine, i would be very tempted to go travel back in time. but i wouldn't be going anywhere or another time. i had my chances and i had made my choices. i've of course made mistakes and the lessons i learned still guide me now. going back in time would not make the painful events go away. nothing would change yet i would have missed on something in the present that could have made a difference. i think i'll leave the past to the past and let the future be a surprise.

Personally, I think I'll have trouble surviving in the distant past although I would like to like in Egypt in the times of Ramses and be one of the priests. However, knowing the heat of Egypt, and the lack of air-conditioners then, I think I'll forgo it.
Similarly, my hunting and war skills are zilch, so I won't survive long in the dinosaur period or during my beloved Julius Caesar's time.
I think a trip to the future, to somewhere in Year 3000 to see what our world has become, would be intriguing.

Definitely the 30s or 40s when men were gentlemen and everyone was stylish and wore nice clothes. Men knew how to dance too!

I was just watching Walking With Dinosaurs, and was just thinking while I was watching that I'd like to go back and see a real T-Rex. From a respectable distance, of course! hehe
