I am in my sixties,there is no retirement scheme that is sufficient to provide the required funds for even munimum standards of living,and it will be much worse as time goes on so if you dont have it figured out better get started......
and we have the best system going......the third world has none of these minimal benefits even....

I currently live in China and actually that is how the older generations are having to live unless they have children to support them. They work 5-6 days a week with little pay, bad living conditions and no SS for all of their adult life only to be at the mercy of their children It should really make us appreciate what we have in the US and treasure it all the more.

I am 74 and work 30 to 35 hours a week. I hope I can do it till I am 80.
