Youngsters; They have more ability of doing things. they may go a little crazy, but they do move faster than old people. Youngsters have young minds and they are always up for everything, well not everything but you get the point.

Old people on the other hand, are sometimes too slow. They need to rest more than the youngsters so they couldn't rule a country very good. They may have more experiences than yougnsters but us youngsters can learn pretty quickly since some of us are still in school.

So, Youngsters wins hands down. No matter what people say. Youngsters have more ability tthan Old people maybe a little insane but they can move faster. They are always up for everything that's about to come up. They may have little experiences but they can handle it.

Middle aged people.

Youngsters are naive, yet are unaware of it, which makes for very shaky and immature decision making.

Old people can be resistant to new ideas, thereby kicking the same dead horse over and over....

Though there has not been a history of youngsters ruling countries, so historically it is very difficult to say.

This is a University+ question?

Too young and too old are both bad. You can't run a country with Ipod buds in your ears. Nor can you do the same if you're older than dirt...BTW, what's a "youngster" ? 12 ? 25 ? You have to be old enough to realize you don't know everything. That usually only come with age..

Youth is wasted on the young and wisdom is wasted on the old. If only there could be a meeting of the minds. It requires both to have a fully functioning productive society. The young need the wisdom of the older people and the older people need the vision and energy of the young.

i think old people can rule a country better since they have more experience to life of a common man , have seen the world for a long period , although they are less energetic but can think over the matter in a very practical way and can find the solution to the problem

I think we need a nice mixture of both actually.
The older people are in touch with the way things have been done and what has proven effective over time.
Young people come in with fresh ideas and new approaches to old problems.

Both people can learn from each other.

It's abit like the old saying, the young know everything, the middleaged suspect everything and the old know nothing....stripped down it means the young are too idealistic they think/believe they know everything when they dont, the middleaged because they're more practical but disappointments and reality have made them jaded or cynical, and the old finally realise that we know nothing at all. I think we should have a piece of all three, idealism, pragmatism, wisdom and knowledge!

The older people because they have experience to back them up.
Youngsters may have good ideas, but not always have the wisdom to put it into action.
Can we work together?

Sounds like wisdom & experience vs. energy & idealism.

In my mind, the wisdom & experience of an older person is more valuable in a leadership role, but you need the energy & idealism of youth in order to move things forward and get new perspectives.

You use all your resources in order to "rule a country".
