I used to be generating an up trend in sales from my online store - - - until last week of March (when the debacle in Google SE started).

For June I only have a record of 1 fulfilled order. . .

What happened?

It sounds like you were entirely relying on a single source of new customers - Google organic SE. You have learned the difference between a "media" and a "business". You don't have "an internet business" instead you should think of it as "a business, and I use the internet as one of many media to find, attract, and serve my customers"

So, look at alternative means to acquire customers.

Or, re-build your entire site to get back up in the SE rankings, and repeat the process every time they change the algorithm.

Some potential alternatives:
- affilliate / JV with compatible site owners
- customer referral / rewards program
- using eBay as a "loss leader" to acquire customers
- buying Google Adwords or similar
- buying ads in email newsletters
- there are hundreds more, on and off-line...

Side note... you DO keep in frequent contact with your past customers, right? They are your single best source of future sales.

The Internet is a dynamic media and you need to keep adjusting to maintain your position. New ideas are created daily, old ones take on a different form and all the old stuff is continuously promoted as the latest buzz for profit.

Keep researching for new ideas to promote your site.

Could we have a link to your online store to check things out? Hard to guess what might have happened without a look see.
