K, my other questions say how lucky I have been about not getting sick, blah, blah, blah! Well, i hit my 8th week, and it totally hit me! I haven't thrown up, but I do have food aversions worse than anything! I try and make myself eat stuff, like an orange, grapefruit! But everything is so gross to me! EVERYTHING!
People tell me to eat crackers, SICK!! All i have found my self able to eat is Special K! (myfav cereal!)
Is there anyone out there who had the same thing and has some advice? I'm so hungry but everything makes me want to puke!
HELP!

I did however have a baked potato with butter and S&P yesterday... that was ok!
I just don't know if eatting Special K will be good for me! It's supposed to help you loose weight if you only eat that?!

I actually lost so much weight at the beginning of my pregnancy that the doc thought I was making myself sick. I just couldn't keep anything down.
I couldn't stand the sight or smell of eggs, pickles, milk or strawberries!
Just eat what you can and don't worry. Make sure you take your prenatal vitamins. I took mine before bed so that they would stay down while I was sleeping.
Getting morning sickness is actually a good thing. It means that your body is doing what it thinks is good for the baby.
Congrats and enjoy being preggers! It will get better!

Relax. The aversions will most likely go away eventually, it's not that big a deal. If all you want right now is Special K, just eat that for awhile...perhaps try some other cereals as well. When your body needs other nutrients, you will begin to crave other foods - some of them may be things you never in your life thought you'd find yourself eating! That happened to me when I was preg with my daughter, I couldn't eat anything but Rice Krispies for almost 2 months, then all of a sudden I started craving broccoli with cheese sauce - and up till then I had always HATED broccoli! Not wanting to eat was really tough, too, because I was a waitress at Chili's and I love their food. You might consider going "window shopping" at the grocery store, to see if anything strikes your fancy. Just eat whatever sounds good to you at the moment, and tell your hubby/significant other to be prepared to make grocery runs at all hours of the day and night, cause you don't know what you will want or when! Blessings and congrats on the newbie, you'll both be fine.

My wife went through the same thing. Everything from the smell of brewing coffee to chicken. She ended up eating only peanuts for like a month. Just eat what you can. Second trimester will come and you'll be fine.

eat what you can. Try to sneka any healthy food in and if you can;t then def take your pre natal vitamins. THis is my fourth baby and with thi one i cna;t stand hardly any food but I feel so hungary all the time. I am in my 3 rd trimester and it still hasn;t changed. Cereal is very healthy so that is a good start.

then eat spaecial K.
You cant get past the stuff that is yucky right now.
You could also try frozen yogurt, since it is not strong smelling.
good luck
