Take your cutting and dip cut end in "Root Tone" It's a root stimulant. It's a powdery substance that looks like baking soda. You can get it at wal-mart, Lowe's, home depot, or any nursery. Then you plant it in moist soil and keep it in a low lite area for a few days. The cutting will develop roots in a few days.

Or you can put your cuttings in a glass of water (Cut end in the water) and let it soak for about a week. The roots will come. Make sure you remove all the leaves on the part of the stem that is submerged underwater. This slows down the bacteria, fungus and mold growth.

Like any other ivy, it is very easy to take a cutting and plant it. Cut along the stem where you can see the beginnings of a tiny root, or you may come across a longer root. Place the stem with the root into fresh potting mix and it should begin to grow.

The best way is to cut the plant close to a main stem, dip it in root growth hormone and then plant in moist soil. If you don't have the hormone (I can't find it either), try cutting a section off and putting it in a jar of water. Wait until the roots start growing out of the cut end and then plant.
