Hi sis, what a cute question.
In my days wearing make-up on 6th grade was kinda weird. And it's frown upon. That's what society will tell you.
But if you asked my opinion, it's up to you girl. If you learn to put make-up that are appropriate for your age, I think that's so fine.
If I was your mom, I would assist you in doing your own make-up, that way I get to teach you how to put a descent make-up appropriate for your age. With the right make-up and the right attitude, you will look stunning.
Good luck.

Grade 6 that makes you what 12? That's way too early, and it gives creepy old men dirty ideas. I wasn't allowed to wear makeup till I started highschool. If I were you I'd wait a little while. For now, maybe just try a light shade of lipstick and maybe some cover up for any spots that you might want hidden. But that's all I would suggest.

Keep it natural......This is ALL you need:
1. A transluscent pressed powder compact.
This is so you don't look shiny.
2. A tinted Lip Gloss. Bonne Bell makes awesome flavors! I'm 21 and still use them.
3. A CLEAR mascara gives your lashes slight definition, but won't run and make you look Lolita-ish.
4. A fun shimmery loose powder to sweep across your lids or the top of your cheeks. Pick a light color though......not too glittery, you'll look like a showgirl.
5. Have fun with your makeup, you don't need it everyday!!!!

parents never want there "little girl" to ware make-up but if you and your parents have come to agreement with about the situation, you can wear what you think you need. I just "graduated" 6th grade and i was allowed to wear make-up but i only wore mascara and sometimes a little eye-shadow. I was fine and you wil too. Its your choice when you start wearing make-up and of coarse what your parents say but good luck!

I started wearing makeup in the 8th grade against my parents wishes. For your age, put on some lip gloss and keep your skin fresh and glowing. You'll have plenty of time to wear makeup. use your natural beauty as long as possible.

It depends on what you want to do. However, if you are to wear makeup, you need to look natural. Exotic looks are good, for at night when you are older and go to parties. Natural makeup makes everyone look good, and I will give you some tips for wearing natural makeup.
I am going to give you what makeup I wear for your case.
Here are some things that you will need:
-Foundation
-Lipgloss or lipstick (I perfer lipgloss)
-eyeshaddow
-Blush
-Eyeshaddow and blush brush
-Mascarra.
Ok, I use covergirl foundation, but that might not be the best for you. I have a kind of unusual face color, because I have very light skin, but I do not have any red/blue undertones, so I need a foundation that has almost no color, but the little it does gives a yellow/orange undertone. However, you may not be that way. Go and find a good foundation that fits your exact skin color. This is the most important thing, because you need the closest match as possible to look like you are human.
Next is eyeshaddow. I recomend with all my heart Almay, because they have color trios for any eye color. I use the green one, and they just make it look like my eyes pop out. Its awesome. They give good directions on the back, and it comes with a little thing to apply the makeup with. I dont think you should use that though, but instead buy a makeup brush for your eyes. It should be bushy, but very small so that you can get that middle color in the crease. Its under 8 dollars, and its worth every penny of it.
Mascarra is good if your eyelashes arent too long. If you have very thick dark eyelashes, I sugguest that you buy some clear mascarra. Otherwise, buy it a little bit darker than your hair color.
For blush, you should buy something very natural. I recomend the blush that loreal has called true match. How you buy it is they have these cards you hold about half an inch away from your skin, and compare it to your skin. Pick the one that looks best, and then find the letter and number. I am N2, so I would find all the diffrent things of makeup that has N2 if I want to look extremely natural.
For lip color, I recomend gloss all day, but a lip color all night. If you tan more than burn, you need a more pink lip color. But if you burn more than tan, you need something more brownish red. I use a deep berryish purple type of tint, and a shimmery redish purpleish brown for night because I never burn. I dont tan well because I dont have much color, but when I do it always turns out well. My friend however cant tan if her life depended on it, and she looks amazing with any type of brownish red earthy lipstick. I use maybelline lipglosses because I like the glossyness of it, but maybelline doesnt have the best lipsticks. For lipsticks, I also sugguest almay's line with the natural thing. They have a few diffrent types of lipsticks. For those who look good in neutrals, berries, reds, and something else. They look very natural, but if you have a darker skin tone I think that max factor or cover girl is the way to go.
If you are just starting, dont get eyeliner yet because it takes some skill to put on. It isnt a basic, but it always helps make you look the best. If you need eyeliner, then use (once again) Almay's eyeliner. For eyes, they have the eye color, eyeliner, and then a mascarra. All of them are amazing, and you cant go wrong with buying one of each.
You will also need something to take all the makeup off. I use almay's makeup remover because it works really well (I pat my eyes and everything but the mascarra and the hidden bits of eyeliner are gone) but it is one of the more expensive ones at about 6 dollars a bottle. Any eye makeup remover is good, but make sure that you dont buy the pads, but instead always buy the liquid bottles. They last longer, arent as harsh on your face, and just make more sense.
You will need skin care products too. I dont have enough time to get into them right now, but send me an instant message through AIM: Lactating Dragon or send me an email and I will tell you what you should use.
If you have any more questions, you can email me at kdomagala@sbcglobal.net
