no such thing as a best .... but I appreciate the question and will put it on the watch list so I can see if anyone gives me any good ideas. One of my all time favorites was Lamb.
Some that I have enjoyed recently were Fluke, Salmon of Doubt, DaVinci Code, Split Second....

Am anxiously awaiting the return of my hitchikers guide (et al) and cell so that I can read those
..... and I want to read EVERYTHING by Christopher Moore. He just cracks me up!

When the wind blows and Lake house by James Patterson. im 14 and i have read over 2000 novels, all the Danielle Steel ones, all the James Patterson, all the Sidney Sheldon, all the Virginia Andrews and all the Jaquline wilsons. i know im a book freak and my dad hates it :) oh and the Harry Potter books.

Harry Turtledove's eight-book series. No official title since the series has three mini-series inside: Worldwar, Colonization, and Homeward Bound. Took me a good year to finish all eight. lol

I would probably have to say One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, but I also enjoyed The Godfather as well as the LOTR Trilogy (plus The Hobbit).

Mmmm.... Probably the Redemption of Althalus. Not very well known, but a good book.

Either LOTR or Catcher in the Rye, the one book in school I read and didn't end up hating.
