I can't imagine a world without Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. Besides, if there were no boys, there would be no men, and no more people period.

Boys are a source of entertainment. They are typically the ones who create the newest extreme sports because they are more adventurous than girls. They do not mind getting dirty and taking on a dare.
I don't think they necessarily save the world from boredom....my oldest is a girl and she's very tom-boyish....likes to watch sports with her dad, plays basketball and soccer, and loves to do stunts on her scooter, skateboard, bike, and anything else with wheels.
But my son (14 months old) makes me laugh every day.
It's a toss-up!

As a young man, I lved through the 1980s, during the height of the feminist movement. Let me tell you, the feminist were out to eliminate 99% of the male population except for the high status male, the king bee. Not all the women of course just the feminist.
This way 20 years ago, of course, and things have changed. It's a pleasure to read a woman who has nice things to say about men.

I agree, but heaven is heaven because the population of men is only 10% Just kidding.
I had girls by birth, but my foster son, is so much fun, he likes to strip the leaves off my plants and jump in them like a pile. It is pretty funny when you get over the idea of plants that are just stems with a few ragged leaves. He runs, pillowcase cape streaming behind, through the house, once jumping out a second story window, screaming super man.... He caught the side of the willow on the way down and swung to the ground over the propane tank and rolled on the dust of the drive way, completely unhurt. Hysterically laughing, I had to follow...
Yes, I love my boys and my girls, but tea parties just aren't as exciting as a willow ride to the driveway...

well i do agree that the world would be boring if we had no guys around, but same applies for gals.. its the eclectic mixture of feelings, emotions and behaviours that makes this world interesting.the friction and attraction between the opposites is what creates the funny moments easing the boredom.

If boys weren't around, it would be less smelly, but then there also would be a lot of heavy things that would go unlifted. and drains would always be clogged, and tires unchanged.
seriously, I think there would be a lot less adventure in the world, and mud wouldn't be considered a bona fide toy. I like mud.
Yay for boys!

OMG!!! NO WAY! first of all I would not have my children, and that would be HORRIBLE! also we need them to give us challenge because they are most of the time SO opposite of us! I guess thier may be some that think like women....that would be nice. I think boys/men are very important as leaders, Dads, Husbands, Grandpas, etcetcetc!!
