Do you think Lamborghini's rivalry with Ferrari spoiled the styling of countach?

I love the story of how Lamborghini was started. Lamborghini was a farm machinery builder who bought a Ferrari, and he brought it back to Ferrrari and claimed he didn't like how the cluch worked. Ferrrari called him a stupid farmer and sent him packing. Typical Italian, Lambourghini decided to show him and started his own car company, to show Ferrari how a car should be built. This said i don't know if it is so much the rivalry or if Ferrari has a new team of designers. I have not liked a few of the cars they have been turning out. The enzo for one.
