The only thing that we know for certain without debates on the beginning of time etc. is that life wants to continue to exist. Thats the purpose of life, to exist and continue existence. Everthing else that goes along with this is luxury.

It can't be known, it can be picked at and guessed about, but not known.
You have to ask yourself what you want to get out of life, and for you, that's going to be life's meaning for you.
It doesn't even have to be a religious meaning, it can be something that you want to fulfill for yourself. There may not even be a meaning and we could just be here coincidentally. I watched a show on the Science Channel that was pondering us being alien lifeforms to this planet from bacteria that was inside of a meteor that fell on the planet and evolved over millions of years to create us. In that case, would we really have a purpose here? It's possible that we do, but it's possible that we're just an "exotic" species like the rabbit in Australia.
I don't know if that answers your question at all, but I hope I helped offer another way to look at it.

The simple answer: NO. I have decided to stop asking why and concentrate on what. Humans can't possibly come up with ultimate meaning. Every purpose needs ITS purpose. So I just concentrate on WHAT we need whatever the meaning.

That variable is undefined until late in the program execution and will only be defined if all conditionals are subjectively correct. Uhh... in other words.... Probably not;-) Could be 42 in some context though.
