Nice observations.
Evil guys can kill family so most do not have family.

Not all superhero's are orphans. What about the Fantastic Four, they weren't orphans, they were full grown adults when they got their power. But yeah, it is a common storyboard for superhero's. Maybe because they want the superhero's to have a harder upbringing or something.

Complexity. A hero is someone who comes from great strife and a crappy life to rise above all that and help others that are in either worse or not as bad of a situation as he was. and its an easy story arch to eventually meet up with the man that killed his parents and or find out where and or who his parents are. An orphan is typically thought as the worst situatuion one can overcome.

I imagine it comes from the same story telling idea that makes most Disney movie characters begin as orphans. Loss can be a motivator in people's lives - and it gives them more to overcome, and so the victory is sweeter.
If Batman's parents had not been killed he'd never have been so angry to become the hero he did.
If Robin's parents had lived he'd still be in the circus
If Superman's homeworld had not been destroyed he'd have never come here...
If Spider-Man's uncle had not been killed he might have made his fame as a WWE entertainer instead of hero...
Same goes for Disney's Storytelling
Snow White....dead mother
Cinderella.......dead mother
Beauty and the Beast...dead mother
Pocahontas.....dead mother
Mulan....dead mother
Little Mermaid...dead mother
Finding Nemo...dead mother
Bambi...dead mother by the end
Sword in the Stone...dead parents
Peter Pan...no parents (for Peter)
Pinocchio...no biological parents...no mother

Makes them more human. Also because of they are orphans these heroes tend to go on unconcious journeys to find a place to belong.
These heroes also attempt to prevent others from feeling the same pain as them, thus is the secret and true reason they do the things they do.

You can't have superheroes going out and saving the world if they have a curfew! Okay, it's more then that. It gives the story a sense of tragedy, as well as purpose behind the heroes actions against villains.

The reason is, when they were young they did not know they had super powers and killed their parents by accident. It's tough being a superhero.

It adds to the drama of the comic they are in. If they are orphans then they have something to fight for, like avenging their parents deaths

Good Question.
becoz that makes them looks cool.they wont have any feelings once they do not have family...the feeling of lonely can make everyone become stronger...they dont allowed someone to hurt them, like their family are too weak to protect themself.
Dont you notice all evil are orphans too?

If they had parents, they wouldn't be able to go save the world at 3 am. Their parents would check them trying to sneak out of the house.
