I just went thru all the answers you have received on this question and only wish that the 9 chief justices would read these and wake up to the fact of what the citizens are trying to tell them. The same thing that they do to us! Think about this one... before 9-11, how many of our troops were somewhere fighting for another country? How many innocent people were killed by our troops at the time? To me...It seems as if we(our Government) is playing a Hate game. If we were killing innocent people before 9-11, are we as "Americans"...Terrorists?

Ultimately terrorists and those engaged in such pursuits are mentally disturbed and incapable of behaving in a rational and sane manner.They should be hunted down and forcibly restrained from their insane fits of lunacy.
If arrested and convicted for terrorist activities,they should be consigned to institutions for the criminally insane,never to be released.Their mental condition should be studied and monitored by psychiatric experts to gain insight in to the causes of their condition.

i hate the whole "terrorist" label

what, exactly, is a terrorist? anybody that induces terror? my 2 year old climbs on furniture and terrorizes his big sister....is he a terrorist?

but, as for punishment fitting crimes...i think cutting off hands and fingers and poking out eyes isn't a bad idea

well.... i really feel that terrorists are to be tackled as a threat to the innocent human life...

and they are so be tortured to an extent that even anyone may tremble seeing it..!

this will create a fear for the pain and the tribulations that a person wil hv to bear if he chooses the terror path!

and so the people who get swayed by this path will give a second thought to such life... i think if extricated from this stage only...

If they are 100%, no doubt terrorists who have or planned to carry out attacks on American citizens, they should be executed. After intense interrogation of course - hopefully somewhere that amnesty international can't find them.

If you are referring to generic 'terrorists' which would include, for example, gang bangers, then they should all be rounded up and put on a desert island to do a job on each other.
