ice hound i dont know what ur smoking?clinton portis is in the top 10 in running backs and antonio gates is one of the best tight ends out there so im strong in every position except for WR and my plans were not to get a explosive player at that position i would wait and find a guy on the waiver wire that could breakout if u look at my wideouts numbers they are medeocure which i planned to get and strengthen evry other position which i did

ok i have some what simular team but word of advice ..u need only 1 defence..unload akers..way to hard to tell if injury he had last year will hurt him in the long hall..also unload farve..u need some one on the up rize not down fall..carolina will keep u going..but look 4 hot defence around bye week..check match ups..also load up on wr and rbs..

Well if Palmer doesn't return to form, you could be in a world of hurt.

Johnson and Stallworth are very iffy WR's.. Dillon I think is on the way down and now he has Laurence Maroney splitting carries with him. Gates and Burleson should have good years, but Gates could struggle with a new QB and Burleson could struggle with an entirely different offense. Foster is very injury prone (you might want to try to get Deangelo Williams if you can).. Fred Taylor is the epitome of injury.. Brett Favre had a terrible season in 2006.. and Terry Glenn may not catch as many balls with TO there.

Lots of uncertainties on your team outside of Portis.. but then again, i've seen teams like that that flat dominate so who knows.

I'd actually watch out for your QBs.... Favre hasn't had good years lately, and Palmer is solid but not flashy when it comes to numbers. I'd also watch out what happens with Corey Dillon. NE Patriots are just flush with running backs, and if Dillon starts looking like he did last year (not so good at all) we may see the rookie, or Pass or Faulk again...

As for Defense, I'd go for maybe Atlanta, or the Pats. The Pats are a bit of a gamble, but that's why it's a game.... :)

You need another WR. Johnson is solid.
Palmer could be iffy based on his recovery. I would nab one decent backup QB(Favre might be so so) because this is Rivers first full year. He might blow up but have a backup.
You might wanna nab another RB as well.
Not sure if you are doing a keeper/dynasty league but maybe grab Reggie Bush kinda early. Dillon is on his last legs.
RB's after 30 their production dramatically goes down.

Sadly, I am unimpressed with the main portion of your lineup.

Defense and K are solid, and QB is very good. Outside of that, you ar epoised to have a mediocre season. Since I don't know who was available at the times of your selections, I cannot say who you should have gotten in their place.
