I had an LG camera phone and the pictures looked just like ones taken from a digital camera, you couldnt tell the difference.

well the first phone that you had wasn't a camera phone it was camera adaptable meaning that you could attach a camera and it would take pictures. Depending on the phone you have and the megapixels on the camera will determine the clarity of the pictures. I have one also sometimes the pictures aren't clear so i have to adjust them myself. You can do the same upload it and then go into a picture program such as corel, etc. You can take out red eye, adjust darkness, and so on.

Yes , but it depends on the phone, I have a razr, i need to take pictures for my job and have had no problem. i just take the picture and then email it to the company, i have also taken pictures that i have had printed or made cd's out of and no one can believe it is from a cell phone. I took a picture of a rainbow at my house and sent it into one of those contest. well quess what, they are going to publishe it. so yes,,i would say some are good

You don't buy a phone to take good quality pictures. That's what cameras are for. You will not be able to take great photos with a cell phone camera.

I have a t609 on which the camera works excellently, but you shouldn't mostly buy it for the camera, buy it for the small chip that allows you to download stuff from your computer. I f you want a phone mostly for the camera buy a phone that makes a huge deal about its' camera on commercials.

camera phone should work fine, but the quality isnt going to be very good...they are good if you want to take a quick picture of your friends or something, but i dont reccomend it if youre going on a vacation and just using your camera phone....as for the model, im not sure how good the quality will be...but they are different..for example ive seen some phones with bad quality, but my sisters razr is amazing!

The quality of the images you get on current camera phones is not as good as a typical digital camera. Keep your phone - get a good small camera.
On top of that... for the work i do, I often visit manufacturing sites of suppliers and customers, and with a camera in my phone, I would not be allowed to bring it with me, per rules of many companies that they don't allow photography inside their facilities.

Camera phones are getting better, but they are still low-quality images. They look decent on a small cell phone screen, but dont' look as good if blown up.
