Medical experts are work continuously trying to extend our lifes with more and more people living over 100. Would you like to hold onto every breath of life regardless of quality or would you want to go at a younger age but with more dignity?

I'm not concerned about dignity, because that's really just a form of pride, which is something we should all do our very best to eradicate from our natures. The more humility I learn, the better off I am. I think I would like to die at whatever time and in whatever way is most useful both for me and for the rest of the world. It might be that a long life would give me the opportunity to serve others for many more years, or maybe to inspire others with courage if they see me bear suffering with faith. On the other hand, it might be just as good for me to die young, if that would save me from corruption I would have faced later, or if it would be good for others that I do so. I'm not in any position to say how and when I ought to die, because I can't see the end of every road. That's why I leave that decision up to God, and try to cheerfully accept whatever conditions He sends me.

If I had an awful disease, like ALS (Lou Gehrig's') I would want to make the choice to die in peace and without pain - euthanasia.

If it's old age and I'm stuck in bed and miserable, I would again like to go without pain - euthanasia.

I'm all about making a choice - except - when someone is healthy and miserable...then that's different - treatment!

Living longer would only be worth it if u were in good health. Life should be about enjoying not enduring. So yes id rather die younger.

Medical experts also give you that option (dying younger with dignity)...

We're animals... survival is core to us. Most people on this earth are just people trying to add one more day to their lives. We strive to thrive. That's the reason for medical research, farmers, war, and prostitution, among other things.

I'm 18 at the moment so I don't know what it's like to be old. But I would rather live, reguardless of my condition, than die.

I don't want to spend any time drooling in an old age home. I don't want to have to ask my children to care for me when I'm feeble.
