Ok, here's the story. I have the opportunity to go to Disney for a college program/ a paid internship this coming fall of '06. I had also gotten accepted into Michigan State University for fall of '06. If wanted, I can start at MSU in either the winter or next fall. The only problem is I'd have to send in my transcripts again, and have the possibility of not getting accepted the second time (they have to review the GPA and everything). Should I take the gamble, go to Disney and hopefully be able to come back in January? Forget Disney (something I really don't want to do... it's a great experience)? Any other suggestions or advice?

Everything depends on what you want to do at college. What major you want to pursue? is Disney just for a summer job? If so, what is the pay, and, can you get the same pay or close doing something else going to the college you prefer.

List all your pros and cons for each, MSU and Disney.

It sounds as if you want MSU more than Disney from the question.

Good luck either way.

disney is a cult. I love them too, but I also used to work for them and they are a cult. But if you are into that, okay. you have about 100 years give or take on this earth. do with that what you will. MSU or any school for that matter will not be going anywhere anytime soon. I'm pretty sure Disney wont either.

Okay ~ break it down. What would you be doing at/for Disney? It sounds like something that could help you go forward in your pursuits. Opportunities like this don't come along often and there are thousands of colleges. Personally, I'd go for Disney ... you never know just where it will end up. It's an adventure, go for it! Good luck.
