mine is when people call and ask for somebody who wasn't available at the time, and i was kind enough to ask if they want to leave a call back number -- they hung up on you! what the hell was that for?

My pet peeves are on the road. I can't stand people who are on the road for a joyride. I've been stuck behind people going 10mph in a 40! I could see their head turning constantly to the left or the right- just looking at stuff! Or they were too busy sipping coffee or looking in the rearview mirror. Just drive!!!! Oh, and I can't stand tailgaters who tail you so close even though they're almost to their destination. I can't stand tailgaters who tail you even though it is clear that you are stuck behind a slow person in front of you. What do I do, drive through the car in front of me? Oh, and I can't stand people who drive at one speed, like say...20mph in a 40, keep chugging along at that speed, and when the light turns yellow, they keep going even through when it turns red, like the car only goes one speed! It's so stupid. They drive just slow enough to leave you behind when the light turns red, but drive right through the red light, and if you look into the car, it's usually two people just looking at each other and talking! How dumb!
I also can't stand people who will drop everything just to answer a text or cellphone call, as if there is no way to call the person back. They could be talking to you about something important, or in a drive-thru, but if the phone rings they drop everything and answer the call. Then if you overhear all they talk about is something trivial, like "Oh, what kind did you get? Cool!" My little brother is constantly on the phone. Even if we're playing a basketball game and the game is close, if his phone rings he'll drop everything and run to the phone, right in the middle of the game! Arrgh...

Those cell phones that "chirp." So not only do I have to listen to one person talking loudly into a cell phone in line at the grocery store, in a restaurant, or in the bathroom (yes, women actually answer their cells in the bathroom!!!), I have to listen to TWO people talking loudly at each other. What's even worse is when a boyfriend and a girlfriend are fighting back and forth with each other over their walk-talkies. My neighbor has to use his cell phone/walk-talkie outside and fights with his girlfriend on it all the time---even 3 o'clock in the morning!

My biggest pet peeve is when I'm driving and people cut me off when there are no other cars behind me. Why couldn't they just wait that extra second to pull out behind me? I also hate when after they pull out in front of me they drive slower than I am.
