Find a different host. Make sure you acquire their DNS (domain name service) protocol.
Some hosting companies will handle your new DNS assignment and some will not.
Go back to your domain registrar (where you purchased the domain name) and login under your account. Under domain name management (or whatever they call it) copy and paste the new DNS into the appropriate field and presto, you're done.
note: You may have to wait for a few minutes or up to 24 hours for the new settings to propagate.
Hope this helps! (:

you would do this by transferring registrars. It is free to transfer .com's to different registrars. You could also just "redelegate" the domain to a different domain provider. You can change the dns settings to point to your new web host, there are several hosts that will show you step by step how to do this.

Sign up with a new host, then get the name server info from them. And then change the DNS settings to the new host.
If you are looking for good web hosting http://www.1and1.com is pretty good, plus they have a lot of space and data transfer allowed.

Usually whoever you pick as your new web host will take care of moving the domain name for you, since is it something they have to do on their end. You would then simply copy your current web pages over to their server. (Often they will assist you with that too)

Cancel your contract with the current host and contact another hosting service to sign up with them. They will take care of the rest.

Sign up with the new host and then go to your account panel for your old provider and CHANGE NAME SERVERS to the two IP addresses of your new host.

Well, at the company I use (MidPhase) you just put in your domain and they do all the work of transfering it. They also pay for the domain for the duration of your service (nice bonus)

you can move your site to another ISP, then make sure you update your DNS records to point to the new web server.
