Seven is considered a sacred number. But review your question there are exceptions to what exists and things change.
There were not always 7 continents, Maximum rebirths I have been taught can extend to 1000. There are a great many more Chakras in the body and some that extend outside the body. But you are right that many important things amount to seven. There are seven levels in each plane of reality. But there are more than seven. There are 365 planes. If you study Sacred Geometry, or numerology, you will find that other numbers also have undisclosed meaning, like the number 12 or 21 which are master numbers. The Universe does not evolve around Seven but it is very important. Look at the 6 pointed Star and then look at some pictures of snow flakes.

How could they possibly think that you just made it all up? Do angels always scream IN ALL CAPS? Pretty good luck that you were able to remember it all verbatim. Did you start a recorder when you first saw the angel? Or did the angel maybe loan you a magic voice recorder that floated back to heaven when you were done with it? . EDIT: Hey, real quick, before this piece of fiction gets deleted. You said "i was not given specific details of the process". See, that's the problem with religious 'prophecy'. It's never specific. Just like Nostradamas, nobody can ever predict a disaster until after it happens, and then, lo and behold, there is the passage in the quatrains that fits the event, albeit a lot of shoving and grunting is required. .
