try pulling out those keys with something (i do it with a nail filer). and then clean the inside of the key as well as the key's place on the keyboard...they might work fine then... coz sometimes dust accumulates and they don't function as good... OR else try tapping them until it starts wrkin...these two options always do the trick for me...might be for u too.try it

If you know how, you can carefully pluck out the plastic keypad covers for the affected keys, keep track of how the plastic springs below are held, then remove them and clean the contacts with a lint-free cloth, then replace the springs the right way up and press the key pads back on the spring until they click into place.
Sometimes the keyboard contacts are just worn out and the whole thing needs to be replaced. For notebook computers the heat buildup also tends to cause keyboard errors although the ones I encountered are the frozen key cases where the key is always on the 'on' position and caused havoc during boot-up.

Your keyboard's damaged. You'll have to buy a new one. They cost around $10 if it's a standard desktop keyboard. If it's a laptop, they cost a bit more ($30-40), and you'll have to have a professional replace it in that case.
If it's a laptop and you decide to just replace the keyboard, however, find out if any friends of yours know how to do it. A professional will get the job done, yes, but will charge you a full hour (or more if they actually want to take their time) for a very simple task.

Keyboards cost 15 dollars. They are cheap. You can get an external one for a laptop too. Wireless is 50+.

well i guess just press the keys a little harder because that's what i do and i have a Toshiba notebook computer (i don't know if that's what it's supposed to be called but anyway) and my n key and my f key and sometimes my m key don't work so i put a little extra pressure on the keys ad the work fine.

There must be circuit damage of your keyboard. Same problem happend with many users. to correct you need to open keybaord and check about circut burn or breakage in the way between mentioned keys.
if you can't trace problem then you have to purchase new keybaord and replace with original. because if you go for repairtinng, it may cost you more then the cost of newone.

if you have windows xp click on start, then on administrative tools, and then click on EVENT VIEWER, LOOK FOR ERRORS PERTAINING TO KEYBOARDS, if your keys are just dirty, there should be no error, if its the keyboard , a error message will be logged, you might have to have administative privilige, depending on your set up. you may be able to disassemble and clean to repair, or just replace it.
