It depends on the type of games you like. The DS offers a more childish and fun selection of game. A psp has more serious and more mature games. If you're 18, I'd recommend a psp, but it depends on the type of person you are.

It is too kid like. Thats why I shy away from Nitendo products. They are continuing to aim there products at the younger generations. For some reason they haven't figured out the adults are the ones that purchase the items. Kids cannot so there parents buy the products for them. An adult will buy a PS2 or an XBOX before purchasing nitendo products so they can use the product also. Nitendo is still so lost.....

I would. i have a DS and it's not a bad system. the touch screen ability is actual kinda fun. i had the same question when i bought mine and it works great. than theres also all the cool games that are coming out for it. things like Big Brain Academy or some of the other games.

If your looking for some real action games then go with the PSP
but ds and ds lite are better for family friendly type games.
so it depends on who you are realy

Try it out, first. Wal Mart and other stores have a DS Lite on display for you to try.
Personally, I dont' like it. It's too small for my hands, and is uncomfortable for me to use. But, you may like it. Just be sure to give it a test run, first.
