The IP address will reveal a number of things about the connected node.
* The ISP or registered owner of the address block
* The possible location of the connected node [country & sometimes region or city & state]

Not likely. You can find out the computer's ISP, which can usually provide you with a city where the computer is either located or located near. But that's about it. IP addresses track of locations, but rather just provide a unique identity for every computer.
