Blow them off, their obviously not making the effort to keep the friendship going, so put it in their hands. If they want to contact you they will.

Maybe your friend is too busy at that time. maybe you could keep sending ((not too much)) a letter or something youd think they like just to let them know that you care and how much you still value their friendship. Tell them that you dont want to lose them as a friend even though the distance is an issue. If this fails and they still dont reply then at least you tried being the better friend and in the future that person will realize that and will kick them selves for it:) good luck

Just say OK and find somebody else to talk to. If they REALLY cared about sending you mail then they wouldn't say they were too busy. If they were really busy then they wouldn't have the time to play computer or whatever they do.

Been thee, done that, have the Tshirt.
I have had friends, even boyfriends do that. I just moved on. Yes I was sad, even mad about it, but I made other friends. I don't really have high school friends left. But I still have friends from college and those I made in my twenties.

Say, " Ok...well then i guess I'll let you go!" Try and make her feel bad for hurting your feelings and if she doesn't call you in the next few days or email or anything, email her and tell her how bad she hurt your feelings. If that doesn't work. She wasn't worth your time or energy.

Call and try to see if something is going on in their life and offer to be there for them if there is.

my family moved from wichita ks to germantown tn and became really good friends with our neighbor there. after 9 months of living there, my husbands job brought us back to ks. we kept in contact with our friends there up until a few months ago when she quit calling and quit responding to emails. i dont know why, but everytime i talked to her, she was in tears because she missed us, and her kids missed my kids very much, and i think she quit talking to us because it just made her to sad to talk to us. i still send her emails and update her on whats going on with the kids, and i still send her kids ecards for their birthdays, but its sad to me because she doesnt reply back. i see that they get the ecards and read them, but i dont get a response. its sad, but thats life. one day we hope to go back there to visit and catch up, but until then, i guess we will have to deal with not talking. good luck to you.

sometimes friends take us for granted thinking we'll be their friend no matter they do. We must make sure that they know how we really feel.
