"Sky High" is a great family movie! Stars Kurt Russel and Kelly Preston. They play Superhero parents who send their kid to A High School for Superheros. The kids get most of the screen time and it's a good one.

also "Dreamer" is excellent with Kurt Russel and Dakota Fanning. It's a horse movie

and "Zathura A Space Adventure" This one is very much like "Jumanji" but it's two brothers and their sister in space. Lots of action and adventure

And what I liked most about all these movies is that you would not be embarrassed by anything in them language wise or otherwise.

Finding Nemo Kids loveit and as some adult humor too. E.T is a classic. I heard that THE INCREDIBlES wa really funny but I haven't seen it. A corny but good movie for the family is one called BIG FAT LAIR is pretty funny. Most kids love all the Harry Potter movies well that all I can think of of the top of my head good luck!
