i am having discomfort in my lower abdomin, it feels tight, the only ways to describe it is, it's like i've been punched in the lower gut, i did a million crunches, or need to go to the bathroom. none of the above are the problem. what could be wrong with me? i also recently, in the past two nights have suffered from acute vaginal dryness, anyone have a clue as to what could be wrong? i'm scared and only 25 so it should not be menopause. Please help if u can.

When you have pain like that and no idea what's causing it, it's time to see a doctor. Good luck!

I agree with all the ladies that have written in so far.
Sounds mostly like a UTI or a bladder infection. Do you have the urge to pee alot? Does it burn when you do?
You should probably get a urine test at the doc, and let them know that you are trying to conceive...only because if you are and it's something worse (hopefully not!) than you can wait until it's healthier for you to try.
Also, it may be a pulled muscle from your crunches. I've had it where I thought I had something wrong with me, and I really ended up pulling a very small muscle. Get a urine test ASAP!

Well its probably due to an urinary tract infection... if not this, sometimes it could be the birth control you were taking, perhaps you should read the warning label on you birth control pills and see what symptoms it could be. It definitely isn't menopause, you are too young for that. My advice is drink lots of water! Sometimes the most painful things can be fixed by just drinking water.

could be PID (pelvic inflammatory disease). when was your last gyn checkup? or it could be a simple bladder or yeast infection starting.
