Say a person usually feels 'neutral', or they have pretty much one mood all the time. What could they do to inspire strong emotion, such as happiness, sadness, clarity, et cetera? (Short of hitting themselves on the thumb with a hammer, I mean.)

imagine the absolute worst thing possible happening to you or those you love. that, or watch the notebook, or a walk to remember. if you don't cry over those two, your not human... lol

It's all about having confidence in yourself
Confidence grows as we accept ourselves for what we are, or improve what we don't like about ourselves until we can find peace within. It may take sacrifice to get there, it may take change to get there and it maybe that you have to do nothing but take a good look inside of yourself, but with confidence comes strength

Practice with people around. Sometimes it comes natural but is usually a skill you develop.
