now why is it that everytime I'm driving in traffic,the slower vehicles are in the fast lane ? is this happening from where you are from too ?
do people just not care about safety or road rage ?

I think it is far worse that people drive slower than the speed limit... then when a one lane road turns into 2 they speed up so you can't pass.. then when it gets back to one lane they slow back down...
something like a truck lane on the highway for them to crawl up hills ... GRRR!
I get very annoyed when people pass me on the right.. always takes me by surprise.. I typically drive much faster than the posted speed limit.. but only when I believe it is safe to do so.. if I come up behind a slower car in the fast lane I try to be patient and wait for them to figure out that they are being idiots for being in the way.. I refuse to do any of that road rage inspiring tailgating stuff .. or horn honking .. or light flashing stuff.. just patience.. or I stop for a soda and let them get ahead.. hopefully they turn off the road :)

I would have to say that this is road rage. But what is slow to you may be fast to someone else. I am the type to be right on the speed limit. I set my cruise. I go down the road in the right lane as I am a slower driver then most who like to break the law and speed. I then come up on a car that is going UNDER the spped limit. Now there is a problem, Under the limit is to the right , over the limit is too the left, Where dows at the limit go? See the speed limit is posted as it is (A LIMIT) (THE MAX SPEED) and that is how fast you should be going. NOT over that. So if you are one to go over the limit, then you shouldn't be complaining. I see ugly faces all the time and people yelling out the window at me or flipping me off as they pass me in the right hand lane, but you see, they are actually the ones that are in the wrong. As if I am in the left hand lane then that means I just passed someone and that is where I should be as I am doing the speed LIMIT. Those who speed should have their licenses taken away....

That is sooo aggravating. I especially hate it when 18 wheelers do it. They are trying something here in some parts of Texas where it is unlawful for trucks to ride in the fast lane. It has been nice

Because the idiots in the fast lane normally think that they're going fast enough.
I completely agree with you, it's my pet peeve on the road.

I like to call them Okie drivers (don't know the left from the right).
I am from Texas and there is some kind of rivalry between us and them.

People think they own the road and that they are the only people on it. They always do that and it's very annoying.

People do it where I live at too. They don't read the signs causes they just don't care.

becasue people have a great deal to be rushed alot and don't relize that this makes them a bad driver. i live in Maine and this happend all the time.

the problem is that yes there are ppl that just dont care about safety, it happens everywhere you go so try to be patient
