Most lizards will not grow their tails back... it's mainly geckos that do. Bearded Dragons will not but they will form skin over the open wound and be just fine.

yes, their tails do grow back. From experience I've learned never use the tail of these lizards including iguanas to hold them. They have a defense mechanism that has them release the tail. Nothing worse than an iguana that is 6' long to loose it's behind!

There is some regeneration but to call it "grow back" is giving it to much honor.
To be clear: Many do but bearded dragons cannot drop their tail as a defensive maneuve. Thats why it will not grow back.

I know most species of skink will grow their tail back, but I don't know if a bearded dragon is a skink or not.
Not all lizards will grow them back.

yes they do
i was freaking out 1 day cuz i broke my lizards tail and the part that broke off was still moving.but it grew back in about 4-5 months
