I married for money and I can tell you that is not the way to go. I was a single parent working to pay bills and have time for my child. I married and became a full time Mom which I love. But my husband is very controlling over the finances. I have "things" and I love my children but I have no relationship with my husband. I am just another one of his "children". If I could do it all over I would marry for love, friendship, companionship, and someone I enjoyed being around. Money is great to have, I love that I am not in debt and have the finaces to buy what I want but I am lonely and find life is not much fun. I stay for the children but when they are grown I am out of this marriage!

Why would a woman marry someone for money? I do realize that there are a lot of cituations when this can be alright... but if you do that, you don't really love the person whom you're marrying and the marriage in itself won't serve any purpose... It'll be like "being married" on paper but not in heart, and it might give a feeling of the two of you being roommates instead of partners for life... Therefore, a lot of "bad things" can either be done or said, and one or the other might not feel anything except for the resentment that might come with time...
Of course, there are instances when people do fall in love in those types of cituations... but they rarely happen and under only special circumstances. You have to trust, love, and honor the person first before going into any relationship and/or even marriage.

Yes, I think I might. There would have to be some attraction to the woman, but if she had money, I would definitely be more inclined to. I married for love the first time, and look where that got me.........So, yes, if I met the right woman and she were loaded, I would.

i'm married for love right now but if for some reason it didn't work out or if (god forbid) he ended up dying, IF i married again, it would only be for money. relationships are too much work when you're in love and i don't have the time to go through all that again.

No it is unfair to marry someone just for money as it is to marry someone one just for love and they are lousy/ dependant. You should have a good communication whereas you can discuss matters maturely and not get upset for everything.
There are alot of consequences for marriages based primarily on cash.

We can only pray that such dire conditions never come our way... marriage decisions are critical and ought to based on love, trust and compatibility.
