This is fine and normal. Masturbation is just self pleasure, it has no reflection on anyone else. Just because you are in a relationship doesn't mean you cant pleasure yourself. After all, isn't the sensation when you do it yourself is different from when someone else does it? Of course, because only we know how to treat our own bodies.

Maybe you dont satisfy him so much that his hand can do all the work. Its ok, most girls go through that stage.
