Of course. The dangers when it comes to haveing children sten from having opposite Rh factors. If you are type O+ you can marry and/or have children with a person of the the same blood type or A+,B+ or AB+ or whatever. You should not, however, try to make babies with a person who is Rh - no matter what blood type she is.

Yes, marrying someone with the same blood type is fine. In fact marrying someone with a different blood type is fine, too.
There are potential problems that can arise with pregnancy if you and your spouse have DIFFERENT blood types. Even then, it's more of an issue for your babies than for the two of you. They have shots they give at certain points in the pregnancy if your blood types aren't compatible. I think it's usually an issue when the wife has A negative and the husband is not A negative.
As far as legally being able to marry, you have nothing to worry about. Even if they do a blood test (most states don't require it), they're not testing for "compatibility", they're testing for serious diseases like syphilis and rubella.
So move on with your life and marry that woman of the same blood type!

Your worry is legitimate. However the answer is Yes as many of the other people have mentioned. There may be potential disadvantage if a man with a different Rh group (a typing of blood)
marries with a women with a different Rh group. In that situation the children might have some degree of jaundice during mother's pregnancy. A same blood group in a sense is best.

Why not? :)
You love each other and want to spend the rest of your lives together, and that is the most important thing in the world :) There's a little bonus to someone else who's close to you being with the same blood type as you are... In an extreme emergencies, you can be "blood donors" for each other and not looking for someone random off the street (so to speak) who can help you out in this :)

Blood type only comes into play if you plan on having children. Then the positive/negative factor comes into play. Other than that it's a non-issue.

Yes. Blood type will not matter unless you are planning to have children. Check out the site.
