Jeff, who IMO is the better Hardy, was suspected to use drugs, so he quit the WWE and later on joind TNA, where too he was suspected to use drugs, since he had major behavior problems, such as showing late to shows or not showing up at all, which finally caused him to be suspended, rumour says he might be coming back to the WWE soon, but who knows.
As for Matt, after Jeff left he was on Smackdown and afterwards moved to Raw (in the first draft at 2004), then he injured his knee and was out for 8 months (since Aug 2004), a little while before he was scheduled to return, he publicized over the net that his girlfriend, Amy Dumas (Lita) had cheathed on him with Adam Copeland (Edge), which eventually led to him being fired by the WWE, in July 2005 he was rehired and came back to Raw, where he fuded with Edge and Lita, and after losing to Edge in a Loser Leaves Raw match - he went to SD. They separated. Jeff took time off from WWE to spend more time doing priorities, then joined TNA afterwards. Matt is on Smackdown!, and Lita is with Edge now.
The Hardys separated on sheer mutual decision.

I know I miss them too, Matt and Lita broke up and Matt works on Smackdown, Lita works on Raw and Jeff is at TNA now, i miss them sooooo much!

i think they broke up and one went to ecw i do believe matt hardey wrestles on wwe becase i have seen him. not to long ago on the show. try going to wwe chat rooms i am sure someone could answer your question.
