I'm great at pruning ornamental trees and shrubs and was wondering what landscapers charge for that kind of work. All the work would be done by me to the highest standards. I'm looking to be one of the priciest services in the NYC area.

My arborists prunes our six trees for a rate that works out to about $35 per hour. But he does not charge by the hour, he charges by the tree. My dwarf trees are less work, he says, than the larger trees and shrubs that he needs to get up into and they take more work to shape.
